The window requirements include a minimum sill depth of 1 1/4 inches for the base placement, and the ability to accommodate 2 1/2-inch-long screws. For windows up to 85 lbs, the sill thickness cannot exceed 12 inches, and the sliding window lip or window stool cannot exceed 1 7/8 inches. The bracket cannot be used with slide casement or casement windows.
