Before installation, please read the instructions carefully. Clean the window frame, measure, and mark the next step. Install the components of the air conditioner bracket correctly according to the installation instructions. Place the bracket in the window and adjust the arm until it is positioned securely inside the window frame. Adjust the legs until the H-frame is tilted slightly downward, then place the air conditioner on the bracket.

The window requirements are as follows: 1) The window sill thickness cannot exceed 16 inches; 2) The window sill must be a minimum of 2 inches deep; 3) The window sill must be able to accept 2 1/2 inches long screws; 4) The sliding window lip or window stool cannot exceed 1 7/8 inches; and 5) It cannot be used with slide casement or casement windows.

The installation can be done easily and safely indoors, without exterior work, just by drilling into the window sill. The bracket should be installed with a slight tilt down for condensate draining purposes, and it fits wall thicknesses from 4'' to 13'' with cement, wood, and brick sills, but should not be used for hollow aluminum sills or casement windows. The adjustable leg allows you to adjust the length of the support arm from 8 1/2'' to 13 3/4'', which is well adapted to different outside walls and relieves weight stress on the window frame.
